Neighbors Take Action: Saint Paul Climate Summit
“I have to see if the screen is green before I go play.”
That’s how a four-year-old in Saint Paul described checking her parents’ air quality app before going outside.
Our kids shouldn’t have to worry if the air is safe. Yet, for too many families in Saint Paul, this is becoming the norm. Over the past three months, Unidos Saint Paul leaders have heard the same message from hundreds of neighbors:
climate change is already costing us.
We're paying for it through:
Higher energy bills
Poor air quality
Extreme weather events
Rising insurance premiums
Increased health impacts
And we know these costs will only grow unless our city acts.
Join Us
Saturday, June 14
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church
700 Snelling Ave S, Saint Paul
Together, we’ll send a clear message to city leaders:
Saint Paul must fund bold climate solutions, now.
Why Now?
Mayor Carter is finalizing his budget engagement meetings, and the City Council will soon set their funding priorities. This is our moment to make sure climate is on the agenda.
What to Expect:
Connect with neighbors who care about climate action
Receive an Action Pack you can start using right away (including at the No Kings protest later that day)
Learn how federal climate denial and divestment harm working families and enrich oil and gas oligarchs
Take steps to demand a safer, healthier future for our city
No child should have to worry about the air they breathe. Together, we can change that.
