Unidos Catholics Truth & Freedom Training
Unidos MN, in partnership with The Advocates for Human Rights and ISAIAH, invites you to the Unidos Catholics Truth & Freedom Launch Training.
As Catholics, we are called to care for our neighbors, protect human dignity, and stand with those whose stories deserve to be heard. This training will prepare participants to safely and responsibly collect stories from Minnesotans who have lived through recent federal operations. These stories will be preserved for advocacy, with the option to share them with the Minnesota Truth Council to help shape our future. There is profound power in capturing these narratives and honoring the lives of those impacted by federal occupation.
Please join us in ensuring our communities are seen, heard, and remembered.

Xcel Gas Rate Increase: Add Your Voice
Gas bills are going up again.
And we don’t have to stay quiet about it.
Speak up on rising gas costs in Minnesota
Xcel Energy is asking for another gas rate increase, about $7 more each month, on top of hikes already approved in recent years. While families are working hard to get by, part of this increase would go to investor profits. The Public Utilities Commission is deciding now, and they need to hear from the people most impacted.
Public hearings start April 27. Join us to share your story about affordability and the kind of energy future Minnesota deserves. You can attend in person or online, and we’ll support you every step of the way.
Scroll down to view the upcoming public hearings schedule. If you plan to attend a public hearing, let us know you’re coming so we can connect you with others, help you prepare, and show up together.
Want to get involved but have questions?

Rooted in the Christian call to service (diakonia), this gathering invites parish communities, Catholic organizations, and community members to come together in prayer, reflection, and solidarity.
During the service, participants will reflect on each station of Jesus’ suffering alongside images and stories from our own time, connecting Christ’s journey to the experiences of immigrant communities today. This Lenten prayer will include a call to both personal and communal conversion.
All are welcome to join in prayer and stand in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors. Please pre-register to help us best plan for the event.
